Dataflow failing with 'There was a problem refreshing the dataflow. ' As error
Hi,
I have created a dataflow from ODBC to Lakehouse in my workspace. The gateways were updated to latest versions.
when the flow is published it is failing and returning the below error.
[999999 Couldn't refresh the entity because of an issue with the mashup document MashupException.Error: Microsoft SQL: Connection Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed while attempting to consume the pre-login handshake acknowledgement. This could be because the pre-login handshake failed or the server was unable to respond back in time. The duration spent while attempting to connect to this server was - [Pre-Login] initialization=383; handshake=29616; Details: Reason = DataSource.Error;DataSourceKind = Warehouse;DataSourcePath = Warehouse;Message = Connection Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed while attempting to consume the pre-login handshake acknowledgement. This could be because the pre-login handshake failed or the server was unable to respond back in time. The duration spent while attempting to connect to this server was - [Pre-Login] initialization=383; handshake=29616; ;ErrorCode = -2146232060;Number = -2;Class = 11;State = 0;Microsoft.Data.Mashup.Error.Context = User GatewayObjectId: ddd5986d-b4e7-4b8d-a583-99c916ffd328]
Can you please help on this how to rectify this?
Thank You.

Hi @Raju_KV
Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.
Apologies for the issue that you are facing here.
Have you opened up the required 1433 ports for the data gateway?
For more details on 1433 port please refer Link.
Try to check the gateway version that you are running. If you are running on the older version try to upgrade to the latest version, this might help me you in resolving the error.
For details please refer Link.
I hope this helps. If you have any further questions please do let us know.
