Fabric - Data Flow Question for Sharepoint folder source

Hi All,

I have two questions related to Dataflow.

1. Can we create one Dataflow using multiple sharepoints folder files, means in one sharepoint folder we have multiple xls or csv files we have to use those file in one Data flow

2. if we are pulling multiple files from the same location, we could use one data flow and loop through them in Fabrics ?

is it possbile? if not , then what will be the solution.

Thank You,

GJ

Hi,

Thanks for replying, However I am talking in Microsoft Fabrics Dataflow not the simple power BI Data flow.

Thank You,

Many features are identical in Power BI Dataflow and Dataflow Gen2.

If something works in Power BI Dataflow, most likely it works in Dataflow Gen2 also.

If the files have the same table structure inside, you could try to follow these links:

Hi. If you are grouping many similar files like csv (same structure) on a sharepoint folder, you can combine them in a single table with dataflows. If you want to import many tables from different structure in a single dataflow, you can do it too. Give us more details if you have more info about the requirement.

Getting from folder examples:

I hope that helps,
