Hi All
Whenever I make a change to an existing Dataflow. The refresh is taking up to 2 hours or more to complete. In most cases the changes are small and the dataflows not complex. Is there a reason for this, and is there anything I can do to speed things up?

Hey Neil,
It's a bit difficult to determine what might be happening for the refresh to take this long. It could be a bottleneck in the network because of the amount of data being transferred and how fast your data source can send such data, it could be something on the service side, or it could potentially be some of the transformations that are happening behind the scenes.
With the information provided, we cannot reach a conclusion as to what might be happening or provide further comment on it.
My suggestion would be to please raise a support ticket so that an engineer can take a closer look at it and provide a better understanding or ideas as to what might be causing the current refresh time. Below is the link to raise the support ticket:
