Even though *.datawarehouse.pbidedicated.windows.net is enabled in outbound rules of firewall I am not able to see in gateway port results. Are you able to see in your gateway port results? If yes please share your screenshot

gateway port results just checks if your firewall allows communication between gateway machine and azure in order to make it work.

your "custom rules" to data sources is not available there.

Hi @Dinesh09

Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.

As I understand that you want to check in Windows OS, whether the outbound rules are enabled in the firewall of your on-prem gateway server for fetching data from an SQL server via Microsoft Fabric.

You can use On-premises Data Gateway app to get the necessary outbound firewall rules.

While the On-premises Data Gateway app itself doesn't directly modify firewall rules, it can be helpful in checking and diagnosing whether the necessary outbound rules are enabled.

Please refer to the below mentioned documents for more details.

Document1 : Use the on-premises data gateway app

Document2 : Network ports test

I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks.
