In 1900 W.E.B. Du Bois hosted "The Exhibit of American Negroes" at the Paris Exhibition. DuBois and his team created 72 hand-drawn charts. The goal was to demonstrate the progress and commemorate the lives of African Americans. Plate 18 showed that the value of the land owned in Georgia grew by more than 350% in less than 25 years.
