Hello - is there a way to delete multiple files from lakehouse without using notebook script?
Right now I need to click on every file and remove each manually.
Thanks,
Michal
It does not allow to leave the directory empty and I have my files in the root folder.
Nothing seems to work here
Documentation also mentions for example 'Dataset' which I don't have as per screenshot.
Hi @mkulikowski ,
Apologies for the delay in reply from our side. Did you got a resolution for this?
It looks like a issue, the best course of action is to open a support ticket and have our support team take a closer look at it.
Please reach out to our support team so they can do a more thorough investigation on why this it is happening: Link
After creating a Support ticket please provide the ticket number as it would help us to track for more information.
Hope this helps.
Hi @mkulikowski ,
Thanks for using Fabric Community.
Unfortunately there isn't a direct way to delete multiple files from the Fabric Lakehouse UI currently.
But I can suggest an alternative way from which you can delete multiple file, i.e. Delete Data Activity iN Fabric Data Pipeline.
Docs to refer -
Delete data activity - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
Delete Old Files from Lakehouse using Data Pipeline
Hope this is helpful. Please let me know incase of further queries.
