Copy activity from REST in CSV format

Hi,

I have an API connection to get data in CSV format and when I try to create a Copy Activity in a Data Pipeline I got this error:

Error occurred when deserializing source JSON file ''. Check if the data is in valid JSON object format.
Error parsing NaN value. Path '', line 1, position 1.

I tried so many options but is not working yet, I appreciate so much if you can bring me instructions or a guide to complete the activity.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @SantiagoG2310

Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.

Apologies for the issue that you are facing here.

When you encounter an error while deserializing source JSON data, it could be due to various reasons such as invalid JSON format, incorrect data types, or missing fields. To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

  • Check if the JSON data is in a valid format. You can use an online JSON validator tool to validate the JSON data.
  • Ensure that the data types of the JSON fields match the expected data types.
  • Verify that all the required fields are present in the JSON data.

If the issue still persists, you can try changing the connection type from REST to HTTP this might help you.

If you can provide more details about your specific pipeline setup, API connection configuration, sample data, and screenshot of the error message, to understand the query and guide you in a better way.

I hope the information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further questions. Glad to help.

Thanks

Hi @v-cboorla-msft,

Thanks for your response, I change the connection type to HTTP but I dont have idea how pass a Bearer Token in Header and found that is simple than headerName: headerValue in Aditional Headers field.

Thanks Again.

Regards.
