Schedule manager

Is there a place where schedules are listed?

In Azure Synapse they are called 'Triggers',

In Fabric?

Thank you

Hi @marcoG

Apologies for the delay in the response.

Schedules in Microsoft Fabric are managed differently than triggers in Azure Synapse. While Azure Synapse uses triggers to initiate data pipelines, Microsoft Fabric schedules are embedded within the data pipelines themselves. This means you won't find a central location listing all schedules like you would with triggers in Synapse.

Here's how schedules work in Microsoft Fabric:

  • Schedules are defined within data pipelines: When creating a data pipeline in Fabric, you can specify a schedule for its execution. This schedule can be based on various factors like frequency (hourly, daily, weekly, etc.), specific dates and times, or even dependencies on other pipelines.
  • Schedules are stored as pipeline properties: The schedule information is stored as part of the pipeline's metadata. This means you can easily view and edit the schedule directly from the pipeline definition.
  • No central schedule manager: Unlike Synapse, Fabric doesn't have a dedicated schedule manager tool. Instead, schedules are managed individually for each pipeline.

Hi @marcoG ,

I don't know if this is the best answer, but you can see the schedules in the Monitoring hub.

In the "Colomn Options, you can add the columns you need.

I hope this helps.

These are only the executions of the schedules.

I was looking for a centralized area where they are managed so that I know which schedules are scheduled to start and when.

Thanks anyway for the support

Bye
