Can I tag pipelines for reporting purposes in Data Factory to use in cost analysis

I'm working on a tagging project in azure where every customer related asset that acrues cost will have the customer tag added to it.  Is this possible at the pipeline level, we are billing at the pipeline level but i haven't foud a way to tie the pipeline to a tag.  Annotations seem to only be related to things internal to Data Factory.  Any help would beappreciated

Not sure whether it's possible to tag items.  It's certainly possible to extract the data from the Fabric Capacity Metrics semantic model that breaks down CU cost at individual item level.  (Table MetricsByItemandOperationandDay, and the Sum_CU metric should give you a cost breakdown by item)

We're lucky in that we have a workspace per service and so can break the costs down by individual service.

Just be aware this data expires after 14-20 days, so you'll need to persist this if you want longer term reporting.
