Power BI is turning 10, and we’re marking the occasion with a special community challenge. Use your creativity to tell a story, uncover trends, or highlight something unexpected.

It is currently possible to publish .pbip files to Power BI Service by hand using Power BI Desktop or automated by using Power BI Workspace Deploy from the GitHub Marketplace.
It is however not yet possible to use the Power BI Cmdlets (MicrosoftPowerBIMgmt module) or Power BI API calls to publish a .pbip file to Power BI Service.
For people who use Azure DevOps to source control their Power BI files it would be very helpful to be able to automate the publishing of these files to Power BI Service on the completion of Pull Requests for example using a PowerShell script.
