We need greater flexibility and control over report navigation with custom visuals. The current built-in visuals like the Bookmark Navigator and Page Navigator provide the ability to list bookmarks or report pages and enable simple navigation, but their functionality is quite limited.
We need to use these bookmark APIs, so developers can create visuals to list and trigger specific bookmarks programmatically.
By having this APIs, we could, for example, create more advanced navigation menus with more settings. Currently, it is too painful to create bookmarks and distinct formatting for each page in case the built-in page navigator doesn't suit a report.
