This week's WoW challenge is from Santhana Lakshmi Ponnurasan. A bump chart is a fun way to see how rankings change over time. It makes those ups and downs really easy to follow, without getting lost in a bunch of numbers. You can quickly spot who’s moving up, who’s dropping down, and who’s staying consistent. Think of it as turning rankings into a simple visual story! And the best part? You don’t need a fancy custom visual- you can actually tweak a native line chart in Power BI to achieve this! Built an area chart with cumulative vaccination % bands and conditional gradient formatting to highlight progression over time. Small multiples by ethnicity make it easier to compare how different population groups reached key vaccination milestones. Thank you Kerry Kolosko for creating this visual challange.50Views0likes0CommentsInventory Management Dashboard

This week's Workout Wednesday challenge focused on implementing LOESS (Locally Estimated Scatterplot Smoothing) using only DAX measures and native Power BI core visuals. In this solution, I: Implemented a dynamic LOESS smoothing algorithm entirely in DAX. Added a dynamic Bandwidth parameter to interactively control the smoothing level. Calculated the Neighbour Count dynamically based on the selected bandwidth. Built the visualization using only native Power BI visuals without custom visuals. Added interactive KPI cards, slicers, and explanatory text to improve usability and understanding. This challenge was an excellent opportunity to explore advanced DAX techniques, local weighted regression, and interactive analytical storytelling in Power BI. Tools Used: Microsoft Power BI Desktop (July 2026), DAX, Core Visuals #WorkoutWednesday #WOW2026 #DataDays #DAX #DataVisualization #FabricCommunity115Views5likes0CommentsNetflix Global Analytics Dashboard
