Hi, I'm having a strange error in Power BI Report Server. Hi all, I need help with auto-updating a dashboard in Power BI that I have published on the web. My dashboard is a ticket report, and the data comes from an online platform called Spiceworks. I connect directly to the Spiceworks server to load the data into Power BI through their driver. Once I have the report ready, I upload it to the web to make it publicly available. However, I have a problem: the data does not automatically update with new data from the Spiceworks server. Does anyone know how to set up the automatic update in this case so that the data syncs regularly without manual intervention? I appreciate any advice or detailed guidance you can offer.739Views0likes2Comments"Date between" slicer appearing as a dropdown for user
Hi All, I have a Power BI report with a date range slicer, which I have set to the 'between' option. On publishing this to web, this works for myself and another colleague in my team. However, when another user uses the report they see a drop down instead. Hello everyone, I have created a report using power bi desktop (Vesrion January 2021). In order to get the data for this report, I connect to a web API using the provided API key in the header part of the request: This part works fine and I get the necessary data to work on the Power BI desktop. When I publish the created report to a Power BI Report Server, as you can see in the following image, there is no way to add the header data which in this case is mandatory to authenticate: The Authentication part in the Credential section in the above image does not support adding headers data and only accepts Anonymous, Basic, and Windows authentication which are not applicable here (The test fails). As the data in my report changes regularly and I need to schedule an automatic refresh, the Report Server has to connect to the Web API at the scheduled times in order to get the latest version of the data. I would appreciate it if you could help me to solve the encountered problem. RegardsSolved6.3KViews0likes4CommentsScraping data from a Power BI dashboard

Hi, We have a power BI dashboard that connects to a sharepoint document. I have used the Sharepoint Folder datasource to connect to this document. It works well on the power BI report server desktop but when I publish, I am not able to set up scheduled refreshes on the data source. It shows three types of auth - Anonymous, Basic and Windows. I have also tried connecting to the document using a web connector. It works on desktop and not on the server. Has anyone got this to work? Any help is appreciated. Hi, I've configured an incremental refresh out of a SQL database. It is configured to pull data greater than RangeStart and less of equal to RangeEnd, the incremental settings are keep 2 years of data and refresh in the last one day based on insert DT. This is set up for 2 tables, the original one pulling from SQL and one more which references the source. The refresh finish successfully, but it brings data up to yesterday only. I have another report with same configuration and it works just fine, what could I be missing? This one is configured on a single table though1.4KViews0likes3Comments
