Greetings everyone, First of all, I'm glad to be here and become a member of this community, I have always been a visitor haha. I have a visual (Area Chart) that shows the expenses for the past 3 years by years (2022,2023,2024) and I have a slicer that filter the years. But when you choose 2023, the visual shows nothing because it's Data Hierarchy by years. How can I make visual to changes automatically from years to months when a specific year is chosen ? Hi, we have an issue with the AttributeSlicer visual after updating to the September 2023 version of Power BI Report Server. Everything looks and works as expected in Power BI Desktop but as the report is saved to the Report Server it no longer works and the element just shows up as a loading animation. Things I have already tried with no success: Tested it with latest versions of different browsers Tested it with an empty report with almost no data to load Tested it with the Demo Report provided for the visual (https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi-visuals/WA104380794) Version of Power BI Report Server: Version1.18.8683.7488(September 2023) Screenshot: Attribute Slicer in the Demo Report Can anyone help me with the issue or is experiencing it as well? Thanks in advance!Solved1.1KViews0likes3CommentsSharing reports with 'Personalize this visual' via comments doesn't persist the personalized visual
The 'Personalize this visual' feature is very useful for our end users to customise views of existing reports, allowing them to reformat or alter the context of the information to fit their needs. Although it seems a current limitation is that when our users try to share a report containing 'personalized visuals' via commenting, the visuals are all reset to their defaults and it's just the filters that are bookmarked and shared with the commented user. Will sharing content containing personalized visuals be available in future? Am I just being a bit clueless and this is already possible?1.8KViews1like4CommentsBug Visual filter ?
Hi, hope there is an easy solution to following issue. There are filters in visuals still active, that are no longer in there. During the course of the development of the report, they have been there, yes. But as you can see in the screenshots - they are not in the pane, but still affecting the visual and in consequence the complete report First example - a slicer There are two fields, also listed as "filters on this visual" on the filter pane But when you click on the filter symbol on the visual, you find a filter "OCFCL" still active, that isn't even there the second example is a matrix. There are even more filters, that shouldn't be there. the OCFCL from above, plus ROSR, SVC and YEAR. Year is "great" - the visual shows filtered values, the pane says "All". I tried everything, but I did not find a way to clear/clean the filters. SVC = E means Export, and I need to create the same again for Import as well. Its a huge report with 26 pages and approx 8 visuals per page ... Any ideas? Tips are highly appreciated kind regards Alexandra p.s. Hi, We have a problem with PowerBI Visuals, we downloaded from the appsource. It’s the Tornado from Microsoft and the HierarchySlicer from azurebi-docs.jppp.org. When we open the report with the Edge browser in our intranet it’s all fine. But when we open it with the “HP Sure Click”-Browser or coming with a secured connection to the PowerBI-Server the visuals are not shown. Our analysis has the result, that the sessioncookie is not sent. Due to this a redirect to the login-site is sent, instead of the expected „.js“-File. How can we get this sessioncookies? Is it possible to make them part of the plugin? Thanks KarlSolved831Views0likes1Commentremove visual from Visualizations

Hello Community - I'm trying to plot a scatter plot with 4 dimension - 1. Sales on X-axis 2. Returns on Y-axis 3. Metric on Size of the bubble 4. Transaction date on Play Axis When I build the visualization on my powerbi desktop, I'm successfully able to get the desired graph. Attaching screenshot. On clicking the bubble, I'm able to trace the path and historical data bubble appears at their respective data points and slightly translucent. When I try to publish the dashboard on powerbi server (I'm a premium member as well), the visualization doesn't behave the same way as it does on desktop. While I'm able to trace the path, the bubbles for historical data point apper on Y-axis rather than on their respective datapoints. Attaching the screenshot. Could anyone help me understand why there could be a difference in desktop Vs server? And how can I resolve the issue in powerbi server? Here is the snapshot of the underlying data.
