Hi, I tried to create a custom visual via Charticulator. It's a clustered and stacked column chart. Do someone know why my visual is not respecting the scale please? Here only deep blue rectangles are resized: You can find here my power BI example and my custom visual. Thank you in advance Regards, CamilleSolved17KViews0likes17CommentsPower BI - Deneb visual - Read a JSON to create the visuals
Hi everyone, I have a graphic which work correctly. I use at the moment a table in power BI dedicated for this visual. It seems possible for deneb to read JSON data because when I provide the original table with the JSON column, I can see the data but when I try to use JSON.parse(), I have lot of errors Please find my current code which work perfectly from my Power BI. { "$schema": "https://vega.github.io/schema/vega/v5.json", "description": "Final trusted version with a correctly implemented 'No Schedule Data' message.", "width": 372, "height": 48, "signals": [ { "name": "pbi_time_offset_seconds", "init": "isValid(data('pbi_summarize')[0]) ? data('pbi_summarize')[0].DST_ClockDiffBtwLocationAndLocalOffset : 0" }, { "name": "utc_now", "init": "now()", "on": [ { "events": {"type": "timer", "throttle": 10000}, "update": "now()" } ] }, { "name": "remote_now", "update": "utc_now + (pbi_time_offset_seconds * 1000)" }, { "name": "remote_day", "update": "day(remote_now)" }, { "name": "remote_hour_decimal", "update": "hours(remote_now) + (minutes(remote_now) / 60) + (seconds(remote_now) / 3600)" }, { "name": "remote_time_label", "update": "timeFormat(remote_now, '%H:%M')" }, { "name": "has_data_for_today", "update": "data('daily_schedule').length > 0" } ], "data": [ { "name": "dataset" }, { "name": "pbi_summarize" }, { "name": "daily_schedule", "source": "dataset", "transform": [ {"type": "filter", "expr": "datum.day_num != null && datum.day_num == remote_day"} ] }, { "name": "schedule_bands", "source": "daily_schedule", "transform": [ { "type": "filter", "expr": "datum.ScheduleType == 'Production' || datum.ScheduleType == 'ITSupport'" }, { "type": "formula", "as": "display_type", "expr": "datum.type == 'Normal' ? Hello PBI community, Another user and I are developing separate dashboards that need to display images provided by web URLs (HTTP/HTTPS). As you know, Power BI doesn't have any built-in visualization for large images, so our alternative was to use a visual from Microsoft's Marketplace within Power BI, "Image by CloudScope.¹" The problem is that our company's security policy has not approved this visual because it doesn't have the Microsoft seal of approval. There is a "PRO" version of this visual that does have the seal of approval ("Image PRO by CloudScope"), but the verified version only supports image calls in Base64 or SVG², not via HTTP/HTTPS links. ¹ ²(PRO VERSION) Is there any visual that accepts HTTP/HTTPS image links with the Microsoft seal of approval? Could you please recommend a reliable one? Thank you for your helpSolvedSandDance Restrictions and Limitations
I think that Sand Dance could easily be Power BI's most powerful visual tool. It currently has some hard-core limitations that restrict the usabliity of this potential titan-esq visual and presentation tool. I was informed a year ago by Steven Drucker that the Power BI : SandDance synergy team was eliminated to focus on Dynamics. I would love to see this revitalized as the potential is currently just teasing us!Filter Columns (Text) by Slicer
Hey guys I have a table with multiple categories and I need to filter them in the visual by slicer. The table should be in one visual with all the data. And if a filter is selected it should filter the columns not the rows/values. Filter Nutzung (filter rows): "Nutzung" that need to be filtered: easy with a typical slicer with the values from the original table. Filter Gewerk (type of work) - Filter columns: there starts the problem there are multiple columns with the same type of work (red is one and green). The prefix to each name in each column is red = "Heizung" = "HEI". For green = "Kälte" = "KAE" Filter Systeme - Filter columns: I assume this would be the same workflow as "Filter Gewerke". I know there could be a workaround on this one and this is not the core of relational databases/modelling with primary keys. I hope you know what my problem/goal is, otherwise let me know - thanks a lot in advance! beste regards, MrNeverland1.5KViews0likes5CommentsApp Store Certified Visuals
Hello All, I have recently moved into the Power BI space from a data warehousing background. My organisation currently implement a policy where they only want employees using visuals that come out of the box with Power BI Desktop. I am trying to understand this line of thought as there are lots of freecertified visuals on the Application store which could be used to enrich our reports. If there any risk with using additional certified visuals from the Microsoft store? For example: Are additional visuals on the AppSource created by Microsoft kept to the same standards as the PBI Desktop out of the box visuals? For example the Word Cloud Visual or Gantt Visual? Can a certified Visual from the AppSource suddenly break between Power BI updates; Can a certified visual be changed from free to pay by a company at any point? Any advice anyone has on the above is much appreciated. Thanks, Alex1.1KViews0likes1CommentStop Line on graph from being continuous

Hi, I have a calendar page with 2 calendar by MAQ visuals. Both visuals use the same data but with different filter conditions. Today is May 17th, and on the top visual, the box for 17th May is not highlighted but on the bottom visual, today's box is highlighted yellow. How can I get this to be done across all calendar by MAQ visuals?
