Power BI Report Server On Premise not able to load certain visuals
Hi all, I'm trying to publish a report to the on premise report server using a new visaul from the marketplace and it will not load after publish. It gives this error saying it can not load, any ideas ? The report server has no access to internet, that much I can say. Regards, Gunther Van LocoIssue with Line and Column stack markers
Markers have stopped working on Report server. In the Desktop version markers look like this Online they look like this: when you click on the marker (now a line) in the key they appear but the formatting is gone. all you see is tiny dots This has been working for ages and up until this weekendProductivity Visual from Excel in PowerBI
Hello everyone, I'm new to PowerBI. I've completed the DIAD course and watched a few videos on youtube. I'm fluent in Tableau but am working on transitioning my reporting into PowerBI. I've never built anything like this in either program and was curious if you could help me build this in PowerBI. I know I can use a matrix to display employee name, day, and values similar to the first 8 columns, but that's as far as I can go. Can I create a column in Power Query or something for the Objective column? Or should I create a reference table with employee name and objective to connect to and add the Objective column after values? Hours absent is a column that requires the manager to manually enter data. Can this be done in PowerBI? My thought was to offer a dropdown for values 0 - 40. In Tableau, I'd use a parameter but I'm not sure how to do this in PowerBI. Total Tasks is just the sum of daily values. Objective - Absence is the Objective minus (Hours Absent * Objective/40). The final column is the total tasks / objective - absence. Should I create a new measure or new column for these calculations? Lastly, is it possible to format the matrix in a similar fashion?
Line and Stacked Column Chart with Table not showing Negative Scale
Hi Team, I am using Line and Stacked Column Chart with Table I have negative values in table but in column chart scale is not showing negative Value. Also can it be possible to add Total as Column in Table . I tried to explore many options but unable to add Negative Scale in Column Chart and Total Column at the end of Table. Hi all, When I have a dropdown filter set up in desktop, if I hover over one of the options that does not fit into the space, a text box appears showing me the full value: However, once I publish this and view it on the Power BI website, the text box no longer appears when I hover over the selections: This was definitely working up until the last week or so as I am now inundated with calls from users who are struggling as they cannot see all the selections. Can anyone offer any help?
