PBI Report Server - When is the Next Update
Hi Just wondering does anyone know when the next update will be coming for PBI Report Server. Based on their release scheudle I would expect one this month or next. however I have not seen anything being talked about in any forums for blogs or perhaps I've just missed it. Thanks
Version number not updated on site with update
Hello, I updated out production PBI reporting server to the May 2019 version. Version numbers on the Reporting Server Configuration utility is stating 1.5.7074.36177. However when I look at the PBI website, it indicates the version number is 1.3.6816.37243. So it would seem the version numbers have a mismatch. The update in out test and development evironments have the same version number (1.5.7074.36177) on both the website and in the Reporting Services Configuration utility. I have installed PBI twice, restarted the server, etc. with no changes. Any advice? Thanks DavidVersions conflict
Hi, i work in a big company (>100 000 people) and PowerBI is starting to be set up (lots of Desktop deployed and a few Report servers for the while). RS version is an old one : August 2018 (should be upgraded this summer) Desktop RS is mostly used by admin who publish Users have Desktop Cloud which have recently been updated to April 2019. Problem is that pbix_201904 can't be opened with Desktop_RS_201809... I can't wait for our summer RS upgrade. I need to publish without doing from scratch the whole damned reports :) Do you think of a solution ? I tried to play with the Metadata file, by changing the date of the version. Didn't work...Upgrade issue Jan2019
Hello all, I was upgrading to Jan 2019 and the upgrade completed successfully. Yet, the Product version is still showing the old number and in Control Panel->Programs and features, I now have two instances of Power BI report server, one for the old version and one for the new. Any ideas what may be going on here?
