time zone
5 TopicsUTC to local time of transaction
Hello, All transactions are recorded in UTC time and I would like to transform the dt_email_sent column into the local time, I created a table with all the time zones considering the country and merged with the main table where I have the date that the email was sent. I would like help on which functions to use to add or subtract hours and thus arrive at the local time that the email was sent. I've tried converting to decimals but unfortunately it didn't work. Any thoughts?Solved958Views0likes2CommentsPower BI Report server change my date fields
Hi, guys, I have a problem with Power BI Report Server (PBIRS). I have a DATE column in my PBIX that is changed when it is refreshed in PBIRS. It is a DATE field, not calculated. Comes directly from my table in MySql. Working locally using Power BI Desktop for Report Server (PBIDRS), the dates look normal. Let's say that I refresh my PBIX and none of the dates in my column are greater than the time I am running it. If I publish the dashboard in Web Services, dates look normal, even if I refresh the dashboard. But, if I publish the dashboard in PBIRS, while it is not refreshed, the dates are normal, but when it is refreshed by schedule, the dates jump 5 hours ahead. If we were talking about a calculated refresh date, I know I will receive a UTC date. That is the server’s way. But why MY data? Is like I am using a sales amount and the server is modifying MY TABLE data adding a fixed amount to it. Any idea on why this is happening?Solved1.8KViews0likes3CommentsDifferent time in online report vs. desktop / last refresh time and created time
Hey there I think I watched almost every tutorial video to this topic but I'm obviously missing something. I have problem with the local time showing correctly in the online reports. In the desktop report every thing is fine and correct according to my data source sharepoint - but online all the times are 2 hours behind, despite to formatting them to local zone times. As for the formating of the columns e.g. the last data refreshing time in my desktop report: - new Query with custom column - used formula: DateTimeZone.LocalNow() - data type: Date/Time/Timezone I'd be verry thankful if anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong.Solved3.4KViews0likes2Commentsreport refresh and timezone not updating
