Regular SSRS reports on our PowerBI Server have DATA Driven subscriptions EVERY single one after upgrade to the latest version ( 15.0.1104.239). We started getting : An error has occurred. Something went wrong. Please try again later. On DataSet Error: There's something wrong with your dataset, click below to edit. Every Data-Driven subscription has this issue now. Anyone have code or something that fixes this? The data sets work fine we validate and save them it's fine and works when scheduled. We get the error only when we Edit a data-driven subscription these errors above come up. If we don't touch subscriptions it works just fine but when we edit them we get an error, or if we create a new subscription we get the error.3.7KViews1like7CommentsPower BI Subscription to AD Group
I currently have a premium per-user capacity workspace. I'm using a report from this workspace, and I'm trying to subscribe a report to an AD Group; however, I receive the following error message. "Free users or groups can only be subscribed to reports or dashboards backed by Premium capacity:" I've tried a Microsoft 365 group, and a security group and both do not work. I've tested with just one user inside the group, and this user is also a premium per-user licenced individual. I've checked my tenant settings to see if sending content outside the organisation is ticked and enabled, and I'm still unable to. Any ideas?Solved2.3KViews0likes4CommentsConfigure URI parameter in subscription for the report in Power BI RS
Hello everyone, Main task of the issue: correct UrlRoot parameter configuration to the report in the email subscription (Power BI RS) I have a paginated report on our PBI RS. Every morning this should send a mail to all subscribers via a subscription, which contains the URL to the report. However, this URL always leads to the report via the node that processed the report, and this via port 80 (closed one). The following test scenario were performed: Scenario Results Single Server it works Single Server mit Alias it works Scale out (1PN, 1QN) mit Alias it works Scale out mit Alias und Load Balancer it doesn't work How should I set up configuration in order to get the correct link to report? Maybe some of you had already some similar case before or know possible direction of the troubleshooting for it?478Views0likes1CommentHow to excute the error items in powerbi pdf subscrubtion

Hello, In Power BI Report Server, I've published an SSRS report and created a subscription. The subcription became corrupted after attempting to change the owner. When I attempt to edit the subscription, I get error: "Something went wrong". I'm able to recreate the subscription. However, now, I have two subscriptions with the same name. I'm unable to delete or disable the corrupted subscription in the Report Server GUI. Is there another way? EDIT: The corrupted subscription has a scheduled date/time to run. This subscription has not completed and has a status of Pending. I assume because it's corrupted, it will not complete.Solved1.1KViews0likes1CommentSubscription running beyond end date
Hi everyone - I seem to be having an issue with my subscription delivering reports beyond the subscription's end date. For some background, I have a report that is to be delivered quarterly. Power Bi does not currently offer quarterly subscriptions (vote for it below!), so I have set up individual subscriptions, like so. Each of these subscriptions are set to start the first of the month and end the following day. For example, Q1 has a start date of 03/01/2021 and an end date of 03/02/2021, and is meant to be delivered only on 03/01/2021. The frequency of the report is set to Monthly and is set to run on the 1st of the month. The issue I am having is that the subscription seems to be running beyond the end date. Going back to the Q1 example, this report was delivered via subscription 03/01/2021, and then again on 04/01/2021. Once again, my end date for the subscription is set to 03/02/2021. So, I'm curious if anyone knows of another way to configure quarterly subscriptions with the current frequency options (Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly) or if anyone can help me pinpoint if there is an issue with my current configuration? Hello, We have just upgraded our SSRS-server to a PBI Report Server. Our subscriptions (autonomous delivery of reports using email) no longer works. We get the error described in the header of this message. I thought the problem was the variables in the subject e.g. "@ReportName" but that is not the case. The problem actually seems to be the email addresses. Whenever I put a @ in the email address - which is kind of hard to avoid - I get the error. It seems very odd to me that PBI Report Server does not recognize a @ in an email address so what could be the problem here? Subscriptions worked fine in SSRS before the upgrade. Kind regards, MartinSolved11KViews0likes1Comment
