Since beginning of June 2025, Our report builder UI is tiny and the reports themselves appear broken
Hi, Since the beginning of June 2025, the UI on our report builder is absolutely tiny, and the design & interface on the reports are all over the place, but this hasn't affected the actual report. Below is an example of what report builder UI now looks like: As you can see, the 'Report Data' column, the folders are really small. Also, the graphs and tables of the report are all over the place:
Calculated fields show #Error when placed on Report Builder report.
I hope this is the right forum. This is the forum that comes up when I click the "Forum" button in Report Builder. I am finding that the most basic calculated fields show #Error when placed on a report. I am using Microsoft Report Builder 15.0.20073.0 I am following the instructions at Add, Edit, Refresh Fields in the Report Data Pane (Report Builder) - SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) | Microsoft Learn. A calculated field as simple as: MyCalcField = "Hello" shows #Error when placed on a report. My questions are: What am I doing wrong? I assume that calculated fields can be placed on reports. Is this correct? Are there limitations or pre-requisites for placing calculated fields on reports? Is it possible to substitute Crystal Reports for Report Builder in SSRS?
