Increase the number of allowed cores
Hi, Suppose we run Power BI Report Service on-premise on a server with the equivalent number of cores as in our SQL Server Enterprise edition with SA, and than we want to put more corse in that server - What would be the procedure to do so? Thanks, Elad.

SSAS Edition
Hi, When I deploy a tabular model from VS, does the Edition option ask which Edition the SQL Server is already running...or is it asking me which Analysis Service Editon I would like to deploy? Not sure if the SSAS cube can be a different edition than the SQL Server Regards, Anders

Power BI Premium - which SQL server edition for catalog ?
Hi all, My organization recently bought Power BI premium. Now i'm installing the Reportserver and i am at the point of installing the reportserver catalog databases. I will use a dedicated sql server for those databases. Can I use SQL Server 2017 Express Edition or other free version for the Reportserver databases? I read some messages in this forum but the answers are not consistent. Some say Enterprise edition is needed, others say Express will be sufficient. Can anybody provide clarity? thanks!

SQL Server Edition required for PBIRS
Hi folks, what edition of SQL Server do I need, if I wanted to run PBIRS on it? AFAIK you can get PBIRS through two different ways: having SQL Server EE + SA and if you purchase Power BI Premium. With the first option you already have all possible modules for SQL Server, but what about the second one? Can I buy PBI Premium and run PBIRS just on SQL Server Express for example?
