I've been building a Power BI dashboard for the 2026 World Cup, mainly aimed at people playing World Cup Fantasy who want a clearer picture of player form before making transfer decisions. The core feature is a "Stat View" toggle that lets you switch between three different contexts for any player, without leaving the page: Club Stats - current season performance at club level Past International Stats - how they've performed for their country across previous tournaments (World Cup 2022, Euros, Nations League etc.) World Cup 2026 Stats - tournament data as matches are played Everything updates dynamically based on whichever view you select — goals, assists, shots on target, key passes, tackles, all per 90 minutes, plus per-match breakdowns in tooltips so you can see form over time rather than just season totals. It also has group standings, full squad pages with player photos, and a stats comparison view for picking between players. Still actively building it out as the tournament progresses, but wanted to share where it's at. A basic line chart enhanced with a shaded area displaying the upper and lower boundaries of a group of data or the range between the maximum and minimum of all members of the group. The radar chart on the first screen isn't a custom visual, it’s actually drawn on the fly with DAX, which is possible using a technique to draw SVG elements that respond to the data selected by the user.
