Hi All, I have built and published a dashboard in Power BI. This dashboard has its permissions set so that anyone in my organisation can see it. I have embedded this PBI dashboard in a Smartsheet dashboard. with the standard PBI functionality of File/Embed Report/Website or Portal/https link Unfortunately, even though everyone in my organisation has a full pro PBI licence, when someone with the correct Smartsheet access looks at the Smartsheet dashboard I created, they get asked to request permission to view the PBI dashboard. Access control is done through Smartsheet. I do not want to have an extra layer of access control for 300+ people for the PBI dashboard as well. I just want people to be able to see the PBI dashboard if they go to the Smartsheet dashboard. I thought about making the PBI dashbord Public but my company has removed that option from our versions of Power BI. Many thanks in advance for any help that you can give.558Views0likes1CommentSmartsheet Scheduled Refresh not available
I am using the certified Smartsheet data connector to connect Power BI to Smartsheet (cloud solution). I am able to refresh the report fine from within Power BI Desktop. The problem comes when I go to create a scheduled refresh it says it does not recognize the Smartsheet connection as an external data connection. I've searched through all of the Power BI help (please do not link the unsupported data types as I am either missing something or it is not making sense) and I can't find why this shouldn't work. From the screenshot below it looks like refresh from service is available... it says gateway is not required. Am I missing something?Solved2KViews0likes2CommentsSmartsheet November 2020 update now can't publish report "The given data source kind is not support
