Hi I just upgraded to September version of Power BI Report Server, and i'm having some issues regarding to Report to Report drill down. Before upgrading, users could export a RS report to excel and still use the drill down capabilities in the report. But now they are getting an error message "Unable to open [URL] Cannot locate the Internet server or proxy server." As i can see the hyperlink that is exported is not correct. The issue is that the domain from the hyperlink gets removed. Example community/t5/ but should be community.powerbi.com/t5/ Has anyone had this issue before831Views0likes0CommentsPBI Report Server September 2019 - Issue
Hi I have updated our PBI Report Server to the latest version and also the Desktop app. I have come across a problem with existing reports that use the Chiclet Slicer V 1.6.2 , in that in the report in the Desktop App, the Fields show up and work correctly but when published to the report server, the options in the slicer are missing. Is this a known issue? Anyone know how to resolve? Desktop Option Published Version of the Report Edited I have also checked the Text Filter visual, and my version also does not work on Report Server but works fine on the Desktop version.5.2KViews1like6CommentsPower BI Report Server - September 2019 Paginated Reports not working
I just did the Power BI Report Server patching from May to September and was pretty smooth. However, some users start complaining that their paginated reports stop working after upgrade. Does anyone know anything about? I confirmed that those reports are not working fine and when i tried to open their data sources are displaying the standard message about "Something went wrong"1.3KViews0likes3Comments
