8 TopicsAutomatically check-in new value scorecard
Hi experts, i need help with automatically checking in new values in my scorecard. I created a report that connects to a mysql table which is populating itself each 10 minutes with a random number. The scorecard is connect to a visual which simply does a countrows. I enabled the refresh and after every automatic refresh, i can see the the number going up in the scorecard. So far so good. But i want to track the changes, so i thought: let's use power automate to create a check-in. So i created the flow: When current value of a goal changes > Create a new check-in As soon as the value is updated by the refresh, the flow activates and it runs the first one perfectly, but the second returns: Manually updating connected metric value is not allowed. So i tried changing the second step to Update a check-in, but again no succes. Does anyone knows how to automatically check-in this new value? Hi Community, I am trying to recreate a--very simple--scorecard for a client. This client creates a scorecard in Excel and I am attempting to recreate, verbatim, what they have created. I am struggling to find what I should use. I have tried a table, matrix and a kpi tile to no avail. Can anyone help guide me to what visual would be best to provide the below? Hello Team, I used the new feature of Powerbi i.e. PowerBI Goals. It is one of the very helpfull feature to showcase high level information. However, I can see the scope of opportunity to upgrade it further. Currently when we share scorecards, the reciepient can see the same in expanded version. That means all the Sub Goals listed below the main goal. Can you please add an option so that recipient can see only main goals and if someone is interested then can clisk on arrow to view the list of respective sub goals Please consider this as an idea for December updates Thanks, Mangesh2KViews0likes2CommentsCannot create Scorecard in Power BI Goals
I cannot create a Scorecard in Power BI Goals. After I fill in the name, select the workspace, and click the Create button, nothing happens. There are no error messages and nothing shows up under All scorecards. I have all the requirements. 1) A premium capacity 2) I'm an admin in the workspace 3) I have a Power BI Pro license Is there something I'm missing with permissions or set up? Very new to Dax so to me this is complicated problem made worse by the data structure. I'm trying to subtract Operating spend from Operating Budget but they are in the same column and need to be compared for the same timeframe so it seems to me that multiple filters will need to be applied for the program to know what value on what row. I think a measure I can show in the report is sufficient. Any help is appreciated. Sample below. Hello, I just found this article about the new scorecard component in Power BI Desktop (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/balanced-scorecards/?mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiTldFeE1tVTFPVGd6T0RWaiIsInQiOiJYdVF4YTRcL2tuTW1VXC9USnJCN3dcL3JqN2xRdjRQeEZ2WVJPZTRjd0dmS1poSTVJcGI4RURnbll2M3NtWjJSZkZ2QjkyTlNrVVp0RHFMeXdzdW1EdGNHSnpoVlNhdjhOU0FEeXhxWHgzS08xSlwvMjdDSk5CUlR0WlNuSGxCcHRVemxyZjNWUkF2WlJcL2w5T0I3S1NpMVVMQT09In0%3D) stating "On the backend, we source multiple Analysis Services tabular models via the Power BI on-premises data gateway and link to a single dashboard by pinning visuals in the Power BI Service." -- I want this feature as well on our on-premise Power BI Report Server. Sometimes it is a real drawback we can only connect to one tabular model at once and especially for the development of such comprehensive dashboards a common source like the data gateway would be great. Hence, my question: is it possible with Power BI Report Server (October 2017 Release)? best regards, SEbastian1.7KViews0likes2Comments
