Hi. I have scheduled a report as follows: I have added a card in report which displays date and time of last report refresh, Today I was looking at the report and found out that it has had refreshed today, before 8:15AM As report is set to refresh every 3 hours, it's apparent that report is refreshed out of specified hours. I tried to investigate more and found related SQL Server Agent job. I was unable to open job's schedule, as SSMS gives me this error: So, I scripted job to see what's inside. Thi is the schedule part: This confirms that job should not run before 8:15AM. But there are more strange things here. active_start_time and active_end_time parameters have abnormal values compared to each other. End time comes before start time! Furthermore, why does SSMS give error on freq_subday_interval value? It is set to 180 and doesn't seem strange. Can someone help me on this behavior please? Dear, I am making multiple reports in power BI using an Excel in the cloud. However at one point instead of having one connection, it made a connection to the cloud and some sort of gateway, even though I referred to the same excel in the same location. The issue with this is that it caused the option to schedule a refresh to dissappear. What happened and how can I solve it so it works as before. Secondly, I will have to transfer these power BI files and connections to another account, since I referred to the excel using the link to the cloud and the other account has access to the same cloud, will this go smoothly? Thank you! Kind Regards. Screenshots below!547Views0likes1CommentUnable to schedule refresh
Dear All, We have multiple reports hosted on Power BI Report Server version (September 2022). Somehow without any modifications some of the reports are loosing the schedule refresh. If I download and upload again, this is working fine. But seems after sometime issue is coming back. All I can see is this message. Stored credentials for this report are missing. Please go to the Data Sources page for this report and set your credentials for each data source to enable scheduled data refresh. Any idea how to resolve this. Last week I installed the new version - Power BI Report Server September 2023, after each new version I test Schedule Refresh. After this version for a first time Scheduler Refresh works! I have managed to set it up for all my reports and data sources. Just for web source – it does not work. So happy now, I have automated PowerBI reports. Just wanted to share this, because I'm sure that many users have similar problem with previous versions.656Views0likes1CommentList of current Sheduled Refresh jobs
Hi all, I would like to see a list of all the scheduled refresh jobs. Where is that visible? Or do I have to run some kind of report to see it? I want to be sure I do not have 50 reports all set to run at the same moment every day (or even 2 or 3) - I would have to imagine that would cause some kind of problem...
