Report Server (May 2022) installation woes
hi folks, I've tried to install the PBI Report Server on 3 different machines (Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows Server 2019 Datacenter), all with the same permissions problem below, where I can't even complete the server configuration, post installation: Am I missing anything trivial? (I've tried the January 2020 Server install and getting the same issue) thank you kindly for any feedback, Cos The machine-default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {000C101C-0000-0000-C000-xxxxxxxx} and APPID {000C101C-0000-0000-C000-xxxx} to the user NT SERVICE\PowerBIReportServer SID (S-1-5-80-xxxxxx ) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable).
