PowerBI Report Server Deployment advice
Hi Everybody, I wanted advice on the deployment setup we are using for a use case we are developing: - PowerBI Reports need to connect to on premises SQL Server - These PowerBI reports then need to be accessed over the public internet Current Deployment Setup: - PowerBI Report Server and PowerBI Destkop (Report Server) on an on premises Windows VM which has access to the on premises SQL Server I want to understand whether we would need the PowerBI Gateway or connection to the SQL Server might just be done through the PowerBI Report Server? Restriction on the Report Server Deployment Server node?
Hi all, Suppose that we have a 4-core pack SQL Server Enterprise license. Do I need to run Power BI Report Server, SSIS ,SQL Server Analysis Services on the same server as SQL Server running on? Can I deploy Power BI Report Server, SSIS, Analysis Services applications on different machines with higher number of cores?Solved945Views0likes2Comments
