Power BI Server Subscriptions E-Mail problems when users enter a comment
I'm on Power BI Report Server Version1.18.8702.6380(September 2023) When a user with the Manage individual subscriptions privilege creates an email subscription, and enters text in the the Comment section, they get the error below. An error has occurred. A delivery error has occurred. The message in the error logs is; |ERROR|1362|OData exception occurred: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: A delivery error has occurred. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.DeliveryErrorException: A delivery error has occurred. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.InvalidExtensionParameter: One of the extension parameters is not valid for the following reason: You do not have permission to modify the value for "Comment". When the comment is removed, the user is allowed to save the subscription and it runs as expected. Users with the Manage all subscriptions privilege can use the Comments the section without error. I've instructed our users not use the section to work around this problem, but since they see it, they want to use it. Is this a bug or some kind or a setup issue? I can't find anywhere to enable or disable the Comment section.
