How to create a pop-up window/message for confidentiality for my Report Server?
Hi experts. This is my first post in this community. My team operates on Power BI Report Server Our data are sensitive and we would like to add a pop-up window/ message that comes up every time they log in Is there a way in Power BI to create - Pop up message or window stating to inform users as soon they log in Report Server Please let me know whether there are any way or need more information about the question. How to authenticate external users when embedded Report Server through an iFrame on my application?
We need to integrate Power Bi Report Server with our application and replace the current SSRS reports with Power Bi Report server which was integrated with our application through ReportViewer control. After some research we figured out that the only way to integrate Power Bi Report Server is by using IFrame and that is OK, but how could we authenticate the external users of our application in the Power Bi Server?
My account is not added as system administrator
Hi, I am installing Power BI Report Server , May 2021 on a blank laptop and when connecting to Report Server it is telling me i am not allowed. This has been a recurring issue and i am looking for the final guide to how do i ensure that the executing account is added as system administrator?
Report Server - API Data Source Connection Issue
Hi, I have May 2019 version Power BI Desktop and Report Server. Using OData feed , I created a dashboard pulling CRM data , but the same authenication doesnt work in Report Server Data Source connection. I have Anonmyous, Basic , Windows and Key Authentication Type as options. The windows authenication doesnt work with the D365 credentails that I used in Desktop and I couldnt do scheduled refresh. When you develop reports locally with PowerBI Desktop you have to use ‘Organizational account’ authentication type and sign in with your D365 credentials to pull API data. Do Power BI Report Server have OAuth authentication type to pass this type of credentials to the D365 API?We have 1 App in which Users are created and login, need to integrate Report server with that users
We have one application in that users are created and log in using that, Need to integrate this application user with Power BI Report Server. Users normally log in to our Application through their User ID and Pwd. from there we will give a hyperlink to Onpermises Report Server. while clicking that link it should authenticate with the current login which is happened in the application and allow the user to access the Report Given in Power bi report Server. Can anybody help me doing this.. Thanks Naveen Kumar
