7 TopicsDisplay Images In Report Bulder using PowerBI dataset
Hello, My goal is the following: I have to display images, stored in PowerBI dataset into SSRS Report. The images were converted to Base 64 format and they are displaying correctly in PowerBI desktop. When I try to load them in Report Builder it's not possible and I receive error. This is what I've tried so far: - First - I select insert image --> the value of the Image with base 64 format. The source is "Database" and MIME type "image/jpeg" - Second - the same thing but instead of the base 64 image I select the text value of the image. Both give no result. I also tried the solutions from this post but they didn't work for me -->https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Report-Server/How-to-display-Base-64-PNG-images-from-a-database/m-p/1177424 Can you plese help with this? I have various Power BI reports that I typically feed with data from Excel. I add new data monthly. One of my data sources doesn’t exist anymore, hence I now have a break in my data chain, therefore my year-to-date, month-to-month etc. results aren’t correct anymore. As I can’t solve the issue of the missing data my idea was to start the reporting from the beginning starting with December 2023. My question is, how do I delete all the old data from the reports so that there is only the data starting December 2023? The repots where created by an IT specialist who doesn’t work for the company anymore.Solved1.5KViews0likes1CommentNew Power BI Update Does Not Allow Online Report to be Replaced
Hello, I noticed today when attempting to republish a PBIX report online that I was no longer given the option to override the pre-existing report given that they have the same name and workspace. Instead of the pre-existing prompt, I am now greeted with this: When choosing to replace, this only affects the dataset being uploaded and not the report itself. I don't want to have to reshare links and reshare permissions every time I go to publish this report, as the stakeholders of prior reports are used to navigating to a bookmark for consistency's sake. I'm not sure why Microsoft would decide to implement this evidently hindering change. Any thoughts on how to work around this? Hi, My paginated report does currently not include the following (null) values observed in the query designer in the report. I want the report to show the blank cells for the groups with (null) values in report. I have tried several solutions, but none of them seem to provide me with the intended results. In addition, I am fairly new to creating paginated reports, so please bear with me. Thank you in advance,1.2KViews0likes3CommentsReport Usage Metric

Hi everybody! I am working on a report and I present the amount of money spend per period using this graph and the table underlyint this graph: This is pretty straigthforward, but i am looking for a way to only visualize the amount of money spend per period instead of the cumulative of everything. As a quick solution i made seperate measures, where i manually subtracked Gebbedrag2 - Gebbedrag1 etc. The results are shown the following table. However, it is difficult to make a nice visual with this and it will take manual work everytime i update this report. Does somebody know the right formulas to get to this point, without having to make new measures everytime i upload something? Underneath i posted a table with a simplified version of the data i use. index date created post geboekt bedrag 1 7-1-2021 material 2510841 1 7-1-2021 staff 6528437 1 7-1-2021 overhead 131079 1 7-1-2021 food 35334 2 29-1-2021 material 2543553 2 29-1-2021 staff 6528437 2 29-1-2021 overhead 131079 2 29-1-2021 food 35334 3 8-3-2021 material 2596334 3 8-3-2021 staff 6528437 3 8-3-2021 overhead 137673 3 8-3-2021 food 35334 4 7-4-2021 material 2655314 4 7-4-2021 staff 7738437 4 7-4-2021 overhead 143647 4 7-4-2021 food 35334 Thanks!1.1KViews0likes3CommentsReport Data is empty/blank
1. Created a Data Source - a class using the Data Sources Pane 2. Report Data was empty except a plus button which I think is the add data source, missing data source folder where I wanted to right click and add data source created in step 1, 3. I had to drop a table to select a data source 1. 4. after restarting VS 2019 the Data Sources pane forgot the data source I added, Report Data is empty/black or white window2.8KViews0likes3Comments
