report builder date format
3 TopicsEmbedding multiple RDL Configurations in One
Hi Everyone, I Have configured multiple company forms using the Report Builder and different dataset. However, I wanted to embed all those report builder configurations in one ( each configuration is structurally different) . lets say I have 4 different kinds of Documents ( A,B,C,D) , I want to find a way that when a user chooses parameter A , Report A would show up and so on. Is there any existing ways to do this. I have checked this thread and it doesn't serve my purpose: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Report-Server/Multiple-reports-in-a-single-RDL-file-Power-BI-Report-Builder/td-p/1447395Solved1.1KViews0likes1CommentDate Parameter Showing up list
Hi Community, I am using Power BI Report builder and I have to create one start date and end date parameter which should be < Today(). I have created two different Dataset each for start Date and end Date and Passed in "Available Values" Section of paramters. But unformatunately instead of Calendar it is not showing up list. I tried Cdate(Fields!Date) expression as well and somewhere i read Calendar will not work if we pass available values. What is the workaround to Provide Date parameters where users can select dates prior to today only? Hello guys, I need an urgent solution for Report Builder. I have created the parameters subscriber number, start date, and end date. For a moment I have the date in text format in default.I want to change the format of the date from the text to the date format so that I can apply the calendar option for my customer. Can anyone tell me how to change the date format in the report builder? I have tried to change the format of date by selecting data type in parameter properties but it didn't work. I think I have to change something in Query. Can someone tell me what I am missing here? Thanks in advance 🙂Solved7KViews0likes7Comments
