Top menu on Power BI Report Server
Hi All I know that it's posible to hide the top menu in Power BI Report Server Reports, buy adding ?rs:embed=true to the end of the url. But I need only the part with the refresh. Is it possible the two green top menus, by adding command to the url. If not, is it possible to ad a button, to the report, that will work the same way, as the refres button on the menu ribbon? Simulate Refresh Button press (Not page Refresh) for direct query report (Report ServeR)
Has anyone found a decent solution to refreshing a direct query report in intervals ? I have been using a 3rd party add-in to refresh the page but would like something to simulate the refresh button press. Then the page (F5) does not refresh but only the report. I dont understand why it is so difficult to find a solution to this. We have a report using direct query to a SQL server displaying on wallboard. The Super Auto refresh add-in works but that refreshes the whole page and then there are a few seconds whre the report is blank due to "Data Refresh" message. If you can just simulate the "Refresh" button, the user experience would be much smoother. Any other solutions out there ?Refresh button does not work after RS update (Semptember 2019)
Hello, we have updated our Report Server to the September version (latest version, released October 25) and now we have a strange behaviour with Power BI Reports with import dataset (multiple sources: Oracle and SQL Server Database). For those reports we have scheduled the refresh every 5 minutes and the scheduled refresh works well, but if I have the report open in the browser and I click on the refresh button it does not update the charts with the new data. If I open the same report in another page the data seems to be correctly updated. It does not matter which browser we use, the behaviour is the same both in Internet Explorer and Chrome. All the users (admins, users, content managers) have the same problem. Is anynone else having the same problem? Thank you
