Migrating from Reports Server to Pro/ Premium
The current senario: Have Power BI Reports on the Report Server that are configured to be accessible/ viewable via three different Dashboards using Share Point as the interface. Each Dashboard and reports residing are controlled by permissions set at the AD level and in Share Point. Looking for ideas on how to transition the reports to Power BI Premium (via Service). Is it possible to create sub workspaces with different permissions? Design ideas of the Interface would be welcome. Thank you.
Report Server functionalities and licenses
Hi there, I would have the following questions regarding Power BI Report Server: 1. Would a Power BI Premium license make sense with PBI RS? I mean, the insights for advance AI would be available for the user besides being in RS? Or does only Power BI Pro make sense in a PBI RS environment just to publish the reports on the server? 2. Regarding the following link (see column "Power BI Report Server") it says "No" to "R scripts and visual" and "Python scripts and visuals". Besides that, on the Power BI Desktop edition for RS, there are available both icons, whereas on the "Notes" column, it says "you can't save Power BI reports with Python scripts or visuals to Power BI Report Server". Does this mean that you can use it meanwhile you are in the Desktop but the functionality does not exist on the server? 3. I would be interested in machine learning/AI capabilities in PB RS. I would be grateful if anyone can provide any advice. Thanks in advance and hope my questions make sense

Hi Everyone : We are planning to move to PowerBI in my organisation, but I'm a bit lost with the possible choices for this solution. For the moment, we are using PowerBI Free Desktop. We do not have any Power BI Pro Licences. We also have some SQL Server Entreprise with Software Assurance and so it seems that we have already access to licences for Power BI Report Server. Our goal is to enable our BA/BI Analyst to publish their viz and dashboards to a common place (this Power BI Report Server?) for our internal clients. Do we still need to purchase a Power BI Premium Licence? I 've understood that we just need to purchase Pro Licence (as we already have a Power BI Report Server Licence) . Am I Right?
