Power BI: Printing using Bookmarks Workaround
Hi All, I would like to ask the community if you encountered this kind of problem and come up with an efficient solution. Problem Statement: We have a dashboard that shows data and can be sliced per project. The client wants to store the slides every month in PDF. So I come up with a solution in Power Automate to print for every project. Now I utilize "bookmarks" to store the sliced report for every project and trigger Power Automate to print those bookmarks. I just sampled a few but our estimated projects in the future are about 400. So that means I have to create about 400 bookmarks and run the automation through it which I think could affect the load of the dashboard and the automation itself. It would be highly appreciated if you know a workaround for this. Thank you!To enable Print option for Power Bi reports in our web application in iframes
Hi, We are embedding our Power Bi reports into our web application in iframes. We used the option File-> Embed Report-> Website or Portal. Do we have the possibility to enable 'Print' provision using custom JavaScript. If yes then could you please share sample. Thanks
Printing cuts off top of report
I've discovered that using the File > Print (Print current page) option in Report Server is cutting off the top of the page - See below example. I'm unsure how long this has been going on for, though we only relatively recently upgraded to the September 2022 version of PBIRS and Desktop (RS). Exporting via Desktop (RS) into a .pdf file works just fine, though this won't be an option for standard report consumers accessing the Report Server. The cut-off to the top area of the report is consistent across files and browsers. Tinkering has so far been unusccessful: no amount of resizing the report canvas, switching from landscape to portrait, or browser print scaling/to fit settings appears to make much difference. Interestingly, increasing the top margin simply moves the cut-off report down the page. It really feels as if the top of the report simply isn't being accepted as part of the printable image. I couldn't find this anywhere else in known issues or on this forum. Any thoughts? Version details below for reference. page getting extended from right when printing?
This is my normal dashboard page You can easily see it has equal margins from both the sides. but when I use print command it get extended from right side. I have tried all the page fits available in chrome. I am not able to understand this problem. like this- Please help. thanks in AdvancePrint all table records in Power BI report
Hi There, I have a requirement to print Power BI reports it is having few charts and tables, when we use native print or browser print it takes screen shot of current visualisations but for table we see only few records not all available down the scroll bar. I would like to know is there any work around for this? Any custom way (JavaScript) or 3rd party tool? Or Any idea when Microsoft is planning to bring that feature in Product itself.Printing from Report Server / Export as PDF
I dont currently have access to an installed version of report server, are you able to print or export to pdf from report server? In the documentation it talks about a paginated view. 'Paginated reports are paginated document-style reports, in which the more data you have, the more rows in the tables, and the more pages the report would have. That’s great for generating fixed-layout, pixel-perfect documents optimized for printing, such as PDF and Word files.' How do you develop a paginated report, is it different from the default power bi desktop report?
