Username and Password not working to connect Gateway
We have a PowerBI gateway to Databricks that username and password stopped working in the beginning of October. We have tried multiple users with access, and verified passwords have not expired, and we are getting: "PowerBI: [Microsoft][ThriftExtention](8) Authentication/authorization error occured. Error details: Bad status with no error message: Unauthorized/Forbinne: Status Code: 403" These same accounts are able to use access keys from Databricks to connect the gateway, but not username and password. All these accounts have full access to the Connector, PowerBI and Databricks. Some people with similar issues said to reenter credentials, this has not worked and we cannot use credentials at all... Only Access Token. Anyone input would be appreciated.
Not able to connect Power BI with MySql server
Hi all, i have power bi version 2.126.1261.0 and mysql server 8.0. I am trying to connect powerbi with mysql and getting an error. I initially thought that problem was related to mysql server so i tried to connect my sql server from dbveaver as well. I was able to do that but not with power bi. Can you help me please. been scratching my head over this for past week.PowerBI reports not updating in Teams for some users
Our organization includes a PowerBI App in Teams which houses several department specific reports. When publishing a report revision or when a report performs a scheduled refresh the reports in the workspaces and the app they are included in all update at app.powerbi.com/home but for some users, randomly, the same app within teams will not update. Anyone have any troubleshooting steps for why powerbI would not consistently update in teams as it does online?Password protected Access Database - Gateway error
Hi all, I am fairly new to Power BI. I have an access database which is password protected. From my Power BI Desktop, I am able to successfully connect to it through OLE DB driver (Thanks to reference). Now, I have published the report online and trying to schedule a refresh for this database through an on-premises gateway (reference) located in the server. I tried choosing couple of Authentication Methods and still hitting the following roadblocks. Windows - OLEDB driver does not support this authentication method Anonymous Any leads would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
