power kpi matrix
15 TopicsRendering graph with null values, Power KPI Matrix
I want to use Power KPI Matrix to show a monthly accumulated KPI with Actual value and Comparison value. In the dataset the Actual value is null for days after today, and the Comparison value is set for every day through out the month. Now, it appears the graph doesn't render if Actual value is null. The behaviour I would expect is the graph redering if either Actual value OR Comparison value is not null. I've tried the feature "Treat zero values as nulls" but see no use for it in this case, since it creates a drastic drop in the graph that would likely lead to misinterpretations. The behaviour I'm looking for is shown in the Power KPI Visual small multiples example in this blog post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/balanced-scorecards/5.2KViews0likes10CommentsPower KPI Matrix - Time Format
Hello! Does anybody know can I change the format of a row-based KPI to be shown in minutes : seconds, using the Power KPI Matrix visual in Power BI? I know it can be changed to currency or % using the syntax $, 0.00 or #,0.00%, respectively; however I do not know which syntax to use for the Current Value and Comparison Value to be displayed in mm:ss format (this is a KPI for a call center's handle time, which is in minutes : seconds). Any help would be greatly appreciated.3.1KViews0likes5CommentsPower KPI Matrix 3.1.1 no longer displaying on Report Server
Hi I have previously managed to succcesfully use the Power KPI Matrix visual on our Power BI Report Server (And currently have a report on there that's working fine). I've just tried to to develop a new report with a Power KPI Matrix visual setup exactly the same as before. It works perfectly with in the Desktop software but when I open the file on the Report Server I get the message "To see this custom visual, add it to this report first: powerKPIMatrixEB2381CC88A8425FBEB1B07FF57784E6" I'm presuming this is to do with versions of things not being aligned, maybe PowerKPIMatrix has recently been updated and only works with Power BI Service at the moment. Is there anything I can do to get this working again? Cheers Mark Desktop version: Microsoft Power BI Desktop (Optimized for Power BI Report Server - September 2022) Report Server version: 1.15.8300.38452 (September 2022) Power KPI Matrix version: 3.1.1519Views0likes0CommentsPower KPI Matrix order issue
Hi, Power KPI matrix seems to have lost the ability to sort the metrics by Sort Order field. I am using v 3.1.1 of the custom visual and PBI Desktop 2.108.997.0 64-bit (August, 2022). I have used this custom visual in the past and the sorting worked. It is not working with this version. Could a summary of KPI Status display when KPIs are hidden using the collapse feature on Category or Sub-Category. This would allow for users to quickly find KPIs of interest/concern. Perhaps the display could use a Pie Chart to display the proportions of colours showing in the relevant KPI Indicators.1.2KViews1like0CommentsPower KPI Matrix - bypass KPI Indicator Value automatic calculation
Good afternoon, I'm using the Power KPI Matrix visual to compare performance of KPIs versus to LY and 2 years ago (2LY). When comparing a percent metric, I'd like to put basis point change into the KPI Indicator Value and Second KPI Indicator Value fields, but as of now the KPI Indicator Value is being pre-calculated instead of using the field I provided. Looking at the sample file, I understand it states that this value is pre-calculated. Is there a way to bypass that automatic calculation for the KPI Indicator Value, as is possible with the Second KPI Indicator Value? Sample File: Metric Example: Appreciate your help, -AndySolved8.3KViews0likes9CommentsPlease help add KPI indicators for auto calculated variances with Power KPI Matrix
I have a simple set of KPIs and I am use a current month and comparing against previous month. I am using column data model with dates as rows and KPIs as columns. I can't seem to figure out how to automatically add green up arrows for positive variances and red down arrows for negative variances. How do I go about adding a simple up/down green/red KPI indicator to each variance calculation that is done automatically in the list of KPIs? I read the instructions about using Method 2 for a calculated column but in this case would i have to create a new calculated column for every single KPI even though they are all being calculated automatically? I am not understanding. I simply want to add the indicator to the already automatically populated column of variances between actual and comparison columns. Any help would be appreciated!817Views0likes1CommentPowerBI: Count values in a Matrix
Hello All, I am trying to figure out how to count the values inside a matrix in a measure. My raw data looks like this. I have a large number of values and a large number of categories that the Category Type can be. VALUE# Category Type Value1 Category 1 Value1 Category2 Value2 Category3 Value 2 Category 3 Value 3 Category 30 I would like to be able to identify if any duplicates exist per Value. For example, in a matrix it would look like: Category1 Category2 CategoryN Value1 Count of category1 Count of category2 Count of categoryN Value2 Count of category1 Count of category2 Count of categoryN Value3 Count of category1 Count of category2 Count of categoryN So that my final data can look like: Is there any duplicate? Value 1 No Value2 Yes Value3 No I am interested in wrapping this up to a measure rather than show the visualization of the matrix in the report.Solved8.5KViews0likes5CommentsPower KPI Matrix: Text Replacement for Current Value
I am using P. KPI Matrix to display Row based metric. Here is a summarization of my scenario: 1) I have a date filter to adjust window of Metric value 2) On certain days, some of the metric values are not available, so I want to replace those with a value in Text Replacement, such as "Not Available". Although I am able to select individual columns from Format>Current Value and replace these values with a text, however as soon as I change the Date range on date filter, the replacement values are lost. I was also trying to set the text value in the data set, but the metric values has to be numeric, so this isn't working. I am not sure if this is a feature where the text replacement will revert when chaning the date range on date filter. I also notice, it only happens when I change the lower date range but not the upper. On switching the lower date range to a value for which Text replacement was defined, the values are restored. To summarize, I am looking for a way to set hard coded text string for certain metric values.1.1KViews0likes0Comments
