Combining Multiple Measures into a Unified Pie Chart Overlay on Power BI Map
Hello Power BI community! I have measures for sales, gains, and losses. I aim to display their aggregate in a pie chart overlay on a map (power bi default map - not Azure Map), segmented by measure type. I have the location set on town name and it works fine but I just need the measure to show in one bubble. Essentially, the measures would be in the legend and the value. For instance, a town might display 25M in sales, 21M in gains, and 12M in losses. While I can visualize each measure independently on the map and segment with a dimension column in the legend, I need a unified view for all three measures that is segmented by the measure type. How can I achieve this with the measure as the dimension in Power BI? I believe I am looking for a calculated table with a switch statement, but I am not sure.
TopN + Others Pie Chart filtered by Date (Quarter and Year)
Hello fellow PowerBI enthusiasts, I have a question that I'm hoping someone could help me with. I have a table containing city codes (id_kota), credit categories (jenis_kredit), dates, and nominal values. The nominal values represent the amount of credit for each city, credit category, and date. Now, I'm trying to create a pie chart that can be filtered by date, specifically by quarter and year. The city codes consist of 39 different codes, which makes it quite challenging if I want to display all of them on the pie chart. Therefore, what I want to achieve is to show only the Top 5 city codes for each date based on the nominal values. For the remaining city codes, I'd like to group them as "Others." Additionally, it's important to have the ability to filter the chart based on the date. The pie chart example (I made it on Excel): I've watched several tutorials on YouTube and looked through the Power BI community, but the solutions I found don't quite fit my specific problem. Now, I'm attempting to create a pie chart that can be dynamically filtered by date, specifically focusing on quarters and years. Additionally, users should be able to filter the subcategories to determine the quantity and specific subcategories they wish to display. With this in mind, my goal is to present only the chosen subcategories for each date based on their bu values. For the categories that users have not selected, I intend to group them under the label "Others." The chart example (on Excel): Is that possible to do? I've watched several tutorials on YouTube and looked through the Power BI community, but the solutions I found don't quite fit my specific problem. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Custom Measure not working on Pie Chart Visual
Hello Team/ Uspace87 , I have created a custom measure , which I want to use as a filter in pie chart visual. When I apply this filter , it gets applied on the "Legend" but not on the "Values" of the pie chart visual. Please assist. My exact use case is as follows : 1.The default behaviour of the checkbox slicer in Power BI is that it shows the result of OR when you select multiple items , I wanted to convert checkbox slicer to AND logic upon multiple selection. 2. I took the help of following link to create a custom measure : https://radacad.com/slicer-with-and-condition-in-power-bi 3. The custom measure is working correctly on table visual but when I try to use the same on pie chart I am facing the abovementioned issue. Please suggest if not custom measure then what is the correct way to solve my use case. Thanks Deesha
