Hi, I want to connect hundreds Datasets on PowerBI web to Data sources via one "On Premises Date Gateway(Personal)". Do you know how many connections are supported by one gateway? Thank you in advance Best regardsSolved2KViews0likes4CommentsPersonal Gateway for R script
Hi there, I have used an R script in my BI Dashboard, published it and set an auto refresh with a personal gateway. The personal gateway is on and ready to use, the auto refresh works with no error but the column that refrences the R code does not show the correct data. The column is meant to show Trues and falses but it only shows False. When I refresh in desktop it works perfectly and the column displays the correct info. I think I am missing something in the personal gateway or in the actual R code but I have read everything I can find on this and just can't seem to get it right. I am new to using R in BI so the whole process has been trial and error but it is just odd that it works in desktop but not service. The R code is used as a step in one of my tables in query editor, this is how it starts off: new_dataset <- dataset new_data <- data.frame(new_dataset) HS <- new_data$"US_HTS_Code__c" COO <- new_data$"Country_of_Origin2__c" new_data$ADDFlag1 <- Any guidance will be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!1.4KViews0likes4CommentsOn Premises Data Gateway (Personal Mode) Offline
Hi, I'm currently having issues with our Gateway showing as offline and i'm having trouble. Any ideas as to what the issue could be, or is there some update which has gone through this weekend I'm unaware of? Thanks.Solved1.1KViews1like2CommentsPersonal gateway
I try to install personal gateway in my dataset on the powerBI.com. It showed the error that I already have this personal gateway in my computer, I need to un-install to re-install this one. I went to the manage gateway and try to remove the personal gateway and there is the error that I can't remove it.Solved851Views0likes2CommentsProblems with Personal Gateway
Good afternoon friends! I am trying to teach myself Power BI and have had great success UNTIL I had to install a personal gateway. It appears that I have the latest version (June 2019 release 2), and the installation says that my gateway is all set up. I sign in and get the message "The gateway is online and ready to be used". However, when I publish my report from Power BI Desktop and try to open it in Power BI, it tells me "there is no gateway to access the data source Oracle". If I go into Settings/Datasets and highlight the one I am using, my gateway does not show up under "Gateway connection" (and basically, go to Manage Gateways and set one up). I'm at a loss, so anything that anyone can tell me would be a great help! Thank you!635Views0likes0Comments
