9 TopicsServer PBI Branding File is not working
Hi all, I encountered an error message: "An error has occurred. There is a problem with the system resource package." I have zipped 3 files: 1 xml, 1 json and 1 logo (.png). I have added KPI codes into the json file, however, i dont really need them. Will that cause an issue. If yes, how should i change the codes? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Hi, I developed a dashboard in PBI Desktop and I'm thinking about publishing it to PBI Server. The thing is that some of my fact tables are pretty big ~40 million records. All of the data is imported from SQL Server, and now the size of .pbix file is about 2GB, with everything imported I assume that it would be about 2.5-3GB. My question is - is it possible to upload such report on PBI Server? I've read many different opinions about that and I'm not sure whether it is possible. I would be glad if someone could explain this to me or direct me to some documentation or article on that.Solved901Views0likes1CommentIssue when opening report from report server (build 15.0.1104.264 / 11/18/2020)
I recently updated PBI Report Server and PBI Optimized for Report Server (build 15.0.1104.264 / 11/18/2020) I have about 5 reports on the server, and usually open 2-3 at the same time by clicking right mouse button on the report, Edit, than PBI Optimized for Report Server opens, than manually click refresh, wait to refresh, Save. But with this version sometimes, not always, when I click on Edit on one of the reports PBI Optimized for Report Server opens and this screen appears( look like there is no visual report and PBI offers me to select and drag fields): Workaround: I open the report a few more times and suddenly the report opens correctly. This issue happens randomly, it's not connected with specific report, most usually happens when I open more than 2 report from the report server and the same time.1KViews0likes1CommentRefresh Works fine but nothing new shows up

Hello, fellas Let's see if y'all can help me. I've a PBI RS installed and already know about the "?rs:embed=true" parameter on the URL. My question is, theres more of those? Like reportsection to navigate trhough the pages, filtering, or just a few more? I didn't found any list on PBIRS documents. If exists, can you post it? Tks, guys!1.6KViews0likes2Commentsunable to view report an unexpected error occurred

Hi all, Our consumers access PBI Dashboards via SharePoint and we edit the URL to strip out everything but the dashboard as we don't want them digging around the server via a crumbtrail or getting overwhelmed by options (refresh, etc.). Unfortunately we also lose the 'Comments', consequently we don't use the comments as an organisation, but I'm keen to embed a performance message narrative into the organisation. Is there a way to keep the dashboard and the comments or a SharePoint/PBI workaround? Thanks for any help.1.5KViews0likes4Comments
