It still amazes me that Power BI doesn't have a better way to handle pages. Having several pages mean that you need to drag-and-drop to reorder, you need to use the arrow keys (no scrollbar?) to go to the next ones, and all-in-all makes the experience poorer. It'll be great to have a pages explorer (similar to Word's bookmarks panel) where you can see all the pages (in vertical, please) and reorder, hide or delete them. It'll make a lot of people's life easier.6.7KViews0likes0CommentsHow to support direct navigation to a page within a multi-page report
We have a multi-page Power BI report, that was previously published to Power BI service, and embedded in our web application. We are using the Power BI javascript api to directly navigate to a page based on config options in our web app. We are trying to move that report to Power BI Report Server, but RS doesn't suppor this direct navigation. What alternatives exist to work around this limitation? We are thinking of splitting the existing report into multiple reports, with one page each. This will create new problems with having multiple identical models, all competing for resources during scheduled refresh. I can't find a way to share a Report Server data source with multiple Power BI reports. Is it possible?Solved800Views0likes1Commentnavigate to specific page inside report

Currently there is now way to see where measures are being used in a report. This can lead to duplicate measures, lack of uniformity, and measures that remain in the model that aren't being used. I propose labels for measures identifying the pages they are being used on.Re-publish changes Page Pane settings
Recently many of my published reports changes from showing the tabs at the bottom to the page pane on the left. I found the setting in the report viewer that allows me to change it back to the tabs but every time I re-publish the report with updates it resets that setting and I have to go in and change it. Is there something I can do to retain that? a setting in the desktop app maybe where I am building the report that is flagging this?861Views1like1Comment
