Hello, I noticed today when attempting to republish a PBIX report online that I was no longer given the option to override the pre-existing report given that they have the same name and workspace. Instead of the pre-existing prompt, I am now greeted with this: When choosing to replace, this only affects the dataset being uploaded and not the report itself. I don't want to have to reshare links and reshare permissions every time I go to publish this report, as the stakeholders of prior reports are used to navigating to a bookmark for consistency's sake. I'm not sure why Microsoft would decide to implement this evidently hindering change. Any thoughts on how to work around this? Thank you!804Views0likes2CommentsDirect Query MariaDb not working in Power Bi Online

Hi all, I am fairly new to Power BI. I have an access database which is password protected. From my Power BI Desktop, I am able to successfully connect to it through OLE DB driver (Thanks to reference). Now, I have published the report online and trying to schedule a refresh for this database through an on-premises gateway (reference) located in the server. I tried choosing couple of Authentication Methods and still hitting the following roadblocks. Windows - OLEDB driver does not support this authentication method Anonymous Any leads would be appreciated, thanks in advance.Solved2KViews0likes3CommentsPower BI failed to refresh online manually or scheduled

When I open my powerbi desktop file the visualizations are brown, then I publish it, open the online report in my premium environment and the colors of the same visualization have changed! they are now purple!. I've seen people say this already happened in June 2020 and the bug was fixed, but I think the bug reappeared with the Dec 2020 update. Any idea on how to fix it?799Views0likes1CommentProblem with OAuth2 when refreshing data - Connection with Excel on my Sharepoint online
I have an excel file in the documents of a SharePoint site. I connected my excel in my Power BI file in the desktop version with the web connector and then I published it on Power BI online. When I try to refresh data the OAuth2 credentials fail and I have to introduce again my user and pass in the credential section. Any other type of autentication is not supported I think. Is there any solution that allows me to refresh data on my Power BI online without errors? Image of the problem730Views0likes0CommentsCommunity Account Support
