Hello. I need help please. I made a dash connection to the ondrive cloud. Using direct cloud path on ondrive. And I'm leaving the automatic update in the power service, but it's giving the gateway an error. Reporting that the gateway is offline. Is there a possibility for the dash to be automatically updated using the direct path from the OneDrive cloud? How can I do it? I appreciate all the help.Solved769Views0likes2CommentsOneDrive refresh won't remain switched off
I have a report on the server that I don't want to automatically refresh. I have turned off OneDrive refresh in settings, but each time I go back in, it switches back on. Any ideas on what could be causing this? I've reviewed other posts regarding OneDrive refresh but haven't found a solution for keeping it switched off.426Views0likes0CommentsAuthentication type oauth2 missing for Report Server Schedule Refresh
Dear all, I would like to know, what is necessary to do on a Report Server side configuration in order to support oauth2 authentication type for (data source) Scheduled refresh. I am able to take PBI Desktop and use OneDrive / SharePoint online list or library like a source, I am able to refresh them manually or upload such a report to Report Server, however I am not able to configure Scheduled refresh for them (for any O365/M365 data source). There is simply no choice in the menu to use e-mail format of the credentials. Just Anonymous, Basic & Windows type credentials and none of this works. I also tried to use Web type connection with no luck, I tried to connect OneDrive folder like a network drive and use web type / excel type connection and again, with no luck. Thank you for any hint, tip or helpSolved2.8KViews0likes1CommentUnable to Get Data from Onedrive even i'm signed in Business for both OneDrive and BI

We have a PowerBI report which was developed from the cloud(Not used Desktop version). The dataset for this report is pointing to onedrive of an ex-employee who developed this report. The report refresh is not happening as expected from the day his account got deactivated. Recently we have reactivated his account and noticed there are no files in his one drive account. Then we uploaded the required files into his one drive account and refreshed the dataset as well as the report. But we are not seeing any difference in the report data. The dataset refresh was not giving any error when manually refreshed the dataset. Same has happened even after we deleted the files from one drive and do a manual refresh Now we have doubt about the location of the file in one drive. The reason is when we create a new dataset from the newly uploaded excel, then the manual refresh worked as expected when the file available on one drive. But when we delete the file and do a refresh got below error "We are unable to locate the file on OneDrive for Business. Please check that the file exists in this location. Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details." Is there any option to find out the source path of a report dataset from PowerBI cloud? Also, can we change the source path of an existing dataset to a new excel path directly from the cloud(Without using the desktop) One more observation is even after refreshing the dataset without any issue the last refresh time still shows an older date.820Views0likes0Comments
