Power BI, on-premises data gateway (personal mode) and MySQL - Invalid connection credentials
Hi all I'm using Power BI to fetch data from a MySQL database (running on AWS) via the on-premises data gateway (personal mode) + MySQL connector NET installed on Azure VM (running on Windows Server 2022). On power BI (app.powerbi.com), the gateway is up and running but when I configure the data source credentials (with parameters server, database, authentication method - basic, username, password, tried encyption on and off for MySQL database) I get the following error: Unable to update connection credentials. Invalid connection credentials. Details: : The credentials provided for the MySql source are invalid. (Source at ***********.) Please have this information handy if you choose to create a support ticket.
