Hello everyone, I have 2 VMs with on-premises clustered in Azure: these two gateways allow me to retrieve several data sources (SQL/Redshift/PostgreSQL). Since last week I can't retrieve Redshift sources: both gateways are partially online with a DLL error on GW number 2. I've updated, deleted and reinstalled the on-premise, tried to deactivate GW number 2 from the cluster but to no avail: the DLL indicated is indeed present in the right place on the VM. Azure Cloud 2: Received error payload from gateway service with ID 344420: ODBC: <ccon>ERROR [IM003] Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126: The specified module could not be found. (Simba Amazon Redshift ODBC Driver New, C:\Program Files\On-premises data gateway\m\ODBC Drivers\New\AmazonRedshift\AmazonRedshiftODBC_sb64.dll).</ccon>. The last solution would be to remove the GWs and reinstall an older version of on-premise, or to completely reinstall the VMs, but cel ame seems extreme. If you have any ideas, thank you.Solved1.2KViews0likes3CommentsPower BI Report Server On-Prem licensing
I am interested in using Power BI Report Server completely On-Prem. If I own a server, fully licensed with SQL Server Enterprise Edition with Software Assurance. Either running SQL Server 2017 or 2019. As far as I understand, this license covers me to install and run Power BI Report Server on the same server that´s licensed? What about consumers and report developers... Consumers need to view reports On-Prem. Developers need to publish reports using Power BI Desktop (optimized for RS). Do the developers that publish reports any licence... e.g. Power BI Pro? or is this included in the Enterprise with SA licence?Solved44KViews0likes6CommentsPricing, Licensing, and System Requirements for On-Premise Power BI Report Server Deplyment

Hello, I am encountering challenges with the installation of the On-Premise Gateway. Initially, I encountered difficulties refreshing Dataflows through the gateway I had installed. Despite attempts to resolve the issue, I found myself unable to fix it. For this reason, I uninstalled the gateway via the Control Panel, resulting in the removal of the gateway cluster from the Power BI Service. Afterwards, I tried to reinstall the gateway to initiate the process anew. Although the installation prompt indicated success, I am now unable to create a cluster either online or locally. I am stuck on this for day. I tried everything i've found online, but could't get it to work Does anyone know how to get it fixed? Thank You!Solved876Views0likes1CommentURL Filters for on-premise reports

Hi, I cannot find any explicit reference from Microsoft whether it is supported or unsupported to run Power BI Report Server on top of Windows Server Core. In the requirements it says that Windows Server 2019 Standard is supported https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/system-requirements but it does not explicitly say whether Server Core installation option is included. In the SQL documentation in contrast, it says that SQL Reporting Services feature does not support Server Core: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/database-engine/install-windows/install-sql-server-on-server-core?view=sql-server-ver15. One could conclude that Power BI Report Server has the same requirements as SQL Reporting Services but I'd really appreciate official info from MS.Solved2.3KViews0likes1CommentHow to config proxy to enable Power BI Report Server for accessing cloud datasets -MS Project Online
