on permises gateway

Having trouble with a server-mounted, On-Premises Gateway communicating with my silent ODBC for Sage 100 access. On-Premises Gateway successfully installed on my server (also the Sage server), and my published Power BI semantic model recognizes it. The persistent error is that my DSN is incorrect. I've poured over community posts for the last couple weeks and believe I have my connection string and credentials correct, and ensured my ODBC is on the same machine as the Gateway. Error log: Matt_BCS: ODBC: ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified The Gateway was originally installed on my machine and functioned well, refreshing on schedule. I'm attempting to migrate the Gateway off my PC so I don't accidentally close the nuisance Gateway window. Any ideas?Solved1.4KViews0likes3CommentsGateway Error
Hi All, I have a report with source as SQL. I have deployed that report in the service. To schedule the refresh for that report, it is required to install and configure Gateway. So, i tried to install the Personal Gateway first, it got installed, but unable to configure it with my account. Similalry i have tried Standard gateway also, (uninstalled the personal and installed the Standard) even then getting the same issue. Below is the error screenshot of it. The above mentioned is everything performed in one of our Servers. The same process i have done in my base machine, and it is working fine. Only issue is in the Server. Please help or provide any solution for this. Thanks, Sudharshan.6KViews0likes1CommentOn Permises Gateway credentials issue
Hi all, I am trying to set up an on-premises data gateway, however, stuck with the credentials issue. It all works fine with the personal gateway. When I am trying to add the data source (Located on the mapped network drive) to the gateway it's asking for windows credentials (Not sure why but .. ) after providing the credentials it throws an error. From the error, it seems that it can't access the file source from the mapped network drive. Also tried to use the same credentials as would use to map that drive and still the same error. Please advise. P.S. I am new to the Power BISolved1.8KViews0likes3Comments
