Power BI Report Server version mismatch – how to work without access to client version?
Hi everyone, I’m facing a Power BI Report Server compatibility issue and looking for the best practical solution. Client version: 2.138.2255.0 (referred to as January 2025) Error details show: Release November 2024 (24.11) for the same build My environment: Power BI RS Desktop January 2026 The report works on my side but cannot be opened by the client. Constraint: The client is in another country and does not allow rebuilding directly on their system. My questions: Where can I download the exact older RS Desktop version (2.138.2255.0) to match the client? If I cannot obtain that version, is there any workaround to ensure compatibility without rebuilding from scratch?
