TABLE VISUAL - NOT SHOWING CORRECT VALUE
Hello Everyone, I'm a newbiew working on a BI report, I want to show/display the header (Questions) as rows. Then categorize it now by 2 columns which is Manufacturer Rate & Supplier Rate. The concern is I use a filter to sort/display the result below by using the respondent category and supplier name. If this question was raise before and resolved please help me redirect to that same question. Appriciate any support provided. Sample I will use the following filter; Respondent = Manufacturer, Supplier = ABC Enterprise. Can anyone recommend any YouTube or other training resources for power bi reporting with a focus on maufacturing, technical and quality issues? Seems most of the training out there is geared towards sales and sales trending. Okay some of the senarios can be adapted but it would be easier for me to garner information where it relates more to what I am doing. Currently trying to do complaint trending using two different raw data sources, SAP and SQL (although with the SQL data I am only allowed to connect via access databases!). So having to merge the two lots of production data and skus etc. But would like to see ideal example of star schemas used for this type of trending, to give me some pointers. Currently using a denormalised table scraped from a report in access, along with data provided via launch bi.
Question on Slicer and Cumulative Totals
Hi community, I am a new here. I am just getting started with learning Power BI and am using this query as a learning experience to post my first ever question to the forum.. I have an issue I am working on in a large data set but created very simple version for this query. I can't seem to upload an excel file here so will just some sample rows into a table below to help give the idea, I hope that helps. What my goal is to have a Line Chart with the 12 periods on the axis and cumulative totals as the values. Then I want to have a slicer so I can compare the different countries. I created a Dax Query to calculate the cumulative totals (which is where I suspect my error is) Cumulative Total = CALCULATE( SUM(Sheet1[Amount]), FILTER( ALLSELECTED(Sheet1), Sheet1[Period] <= MAX(Sheet1[Period]) ) ) However now when I use my slicer I get the combined total of the different all the countries selected. Not the individual countries which is what I am after. As I say, I suspect it is my DAX query, perhaps the filtering. Could someone please help, and once again, I am new, please do let me know if I am posting in the wrong place.
