Dear Team, Could you please help me with the following issue. I have risks list. Each risk in the list has its score. I need to create a table which will reflect 5 top items based on score. I tried to use Top N filter in Power BI, but it returns 5 top values, which are repeated. But I need it to return 5 top items. For Example, based on list below I need to retur 6 lines Risks from 09 to 14 (6th line have to be returned too as it is equal to value for 5th item). I'm writing a mini guide on data analytics for ICAEW, which is the largest body of chartered accountants in the UK. I've included a list of questions below and would greatly appreciate if you could Note that these don't have to be quotes it is more for general background information to help[ me write the BI section. Additionally, is there an on demand video of key features available? If so this would be handy too. 1. Please list BI’s key features 2. Which accountancy software platforms integrate directly with BI, and can you please link me a full directory of direct add ons. 3. Which sectors and size of business is BI most suitable for? 4. Are you able to please provide me with a couple of examples of how finance leaders/teams can use BI within their roles and for use across their wider companies? 5. What makes BI unique amongst its competitors? Would truly appreciate any answers for this.30KViews4likes3CommentsPublic Dashboard Creation
I have been tasked with creating a public facing dashboard. This dashboard cannot interact directly with our database so I would build an excel spreadsheet that would populate the dashboard. We want to refresh it every 2 weeks with the most current data. We would like for there to be sliders so that people can narrow by time, location, and other types of general parameters. Our license is through the university we are housed in though I am not sure exactly what is needed for this dashboard. Where can I find trainings to help me do this? Thank you, GariNeed Help - University task
I am a student and never use power bi before. it seems very hard and difficult for me. Is anybody here who could help me please? here is the task: Using Power BI adequately import and prepare the data. The focus of your assignment is to investigate the passenger segment of the business. Analyze the available data to gain insights into the following areas: To gain some basic insights into the state of business in the passenger segment we would like to provide some basic stats regarding total, average, maximum, and minimum of transported passengers. The company would like to continue its analysis by reporting on number of passengers and number of available seats by flight type. Also, a comparison of such data is needed based on departure/arrival countries. It is believed that the number of transported passengers varies both between the years and within the years. On a monthly (quarterly) basis, what are some spotted patterns in the data? Analyze the relationship between the number of passengers, number of transported mail, and the number of performed departures at the carrier level. Not all offered routes are equally ‘popular’. What are the top 12 routes based on number of enplaned passengers? What other patterns can you spot on these routes? After requirement workshops and interviews with BlueSky Airlines’ executive team you have distilled the following KPIs: Load Factor %: this gives the number of enplaned passengers versus the number of available seats Enplaned passengers (in millions): this gives the number of transported passengers, in millions Revenue Passenger Miles (in millions): this gives the total number of miles that all passengers were transported, in millions Available Seat Miles (in millions): this gives the total number of miles that all seats (including unoccupied seats) were transported, in millions Market Share: this is based on transported passengers Prepare an executive dashboard to follow the proposed KPIs. How is the company performing on different routes and countries on these KPIs? Where are some places for improvements?26KViews0likes9CommentsConditional formatting based on a measure
I am taking a class in which we are using PowerBI, which is new to me. We have created a measure that compares the target profit margin 2% to the actual profit margin. If the actual is below the expected, it is unfavorable and should be yellow. Otherwise it should be green. I have directions but they appear to be from a prior software version. In the directions I should be able to select f of x and say base the decition on my target. I don't see that feature.15KViews1like1Comment
