Hi Team, I have developed one Mobile enabled Power BI Reporting Server Report. When I am trying to access it thru Power BI Mobile App then it is behaving in right manner as per Mobile View, but when I am embedding the same in other application then it is not getting responsive. How can we embedd the PBRS report and make it responsive? Thanks in advance for your help.3.5KViews1like7CommentsMobile Reports Publisher - Power Bi report Server Problem
Hi, We have some Mobile Reports (.rsmobile suffix) was opening properly on our Power Bi Report Server. I upgraded Power Bi Report Server with last version (15.0.1111.115) last week. After upgrading server, I could not open mobile reports. When I click report icon, server downloads it's file. When save report from SQL Server Mobile Report Publisher to our report server, I get error. We've just upgraded to the May 2022 Power BI for Report Server version which has a few bugs in concerning font sizes and background colours. Those seem to be fixed in the September 2022 version, however, in the release notes it states that the Mobile Report functionality is deprecated then. Does this relate to the SQL Server Mobile Report Publisher or the mobile layout view option within desktop? How can I create mobile reports going forward? Will there still be the Mobile Layout option within Power BI desktop? I'm reluctant to upgrade despite the bugs if we're going to lose the mobile report functionality without having an understanding of the alternatives.Solved959Views0likes1CommentPower BI Report Server - Remote access for Power BI reports (Mobile)
Hi All I am trying to install Power BI Server to be used only when users are connected to the internal network. But I need to give access to Power BI reports hosted in the server to some users out of the internal network (remote access from 3G connexion or home wifi....) Have a good day. Hi everybody, I just created a mobile report in my PBIRS with a temporal chart showing monthly income. I already built it in a PBI Desktop report and noticed that the two charts are different, with the one in PBI Desktop right. I found that one bug was my first day of the week in PBIRS was set on Sunday, then I set it on Monday and it got better, but there's still something doesn't work. For example, January value is ok and its column shows the right height. Instead, while February value is ok, its first value (with data Thu Feb 02) is shown in January column, while February one begins with data from Mon Feb 06. Why does it happen? Do you know anything to fix it? Maybe there's a bug regarding the reading of months and week days. Thanks a lot Nick672Views0likes0CommentsMobile Reports for Power BI Report Server
Hi All, I am using PBRS now for publishing my reports. I followed the instruction on: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/mobile-app-ssrs-kpis-mobile-on-premises-reports to connect the server through my mobile. But unable to to. I am using latest version of PBI app and Reporting server. The error i get is - " Please use SQL SERVER v. 2016 and try again "1.6KViews0likes1CommentLocal SSRS can't be found on Windows Power BI App
I've done everything here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/report-server/enable-a-report-server-for-power-bi-mobile-access and looked for all related topics. However, I have SSRS 2016 (and 2017) hosted locally on my Surface Pro 4 and am trying to connect via Power BI windows 10 app on same Surface Pro and just continue to get the: Server Address isn't valid Verify the address is a SQL Server 2016 Reporting Services address and try again error I can connect via browser, I've looked for items in SSRS error log, windows error logs. I can't find anything. I have no idea why it can't find the local report server.3.7KViews0likes4CommentsHow do I create PowerBI reports for mobile apps (i.e. tablet)?
Hi - I've been doing research on creating Report Server reports for the mobile app and I'd like to confirm a couple of things: Must I be on my company network to be able to view reports in a mobile app? Or just a 360 account? Our users would like to demo reports to clients offsite at the client. From what I read, I simply publish the normal report via desktop (report server) and just open the report using a mobile app. No optimization needed in desktop to view the report in the mobile app (tablet). Is that right? I know there is a View -> Phone layout option but this is more for a tablet. In Report Server, you can download the Mobile Report Publisher. Is there an advantage publishing reports using the Mobile Report Publisher vs the regular way? Can I open a PowerBI report I created in the past (just a regular powerBI desktop report that can be viewed on the Report Server web portal) in Mobile Report Publisher and optimize it for tablet use there? Or must I completely start from scratch and recreate the report? Apologies, I'm having trouble with the powerbi app otherwise I would have tested some of the above myself. Thanks!Solved2.3KViews0likes1CommentSSRS Mobile Report Comparison chart issue
We are running into an issue with the comparison chart visual in SSRS Mobile reports where the detail totals are being cut off after we select a detail with a smaller about of text and then another with a larger amount of text. It appears the width of these fields do not change until the report is refreshed. See below: We have been able to reprodcuce this in mulitple cases. We are running SP1CU5 (13.0.4451.0). Does anyone know if this is a known bug or if there is something we can do to resolve it?1.4KViews0likes1Comment
